Strawberry Festival – May 20-21 and Strawberry Picking Season: May into June is generally the best time if you wish to experience some of the sweetest berries. There are multiple nearby farms that offer pre-picked or pick you own – a great way to spend the morning before winding your way through the beautiful colors of late Spring to Peddler’s Village where visitors enjoy a village wide strawberry celebration.
- Our favorite: Pick-your-own at Trauger’s Market.
Tinicum Art Festival – July 8-9: This favorite Bucks County tradition for 68 years returns to the shady grounds of Tinicum Park every year on the 2nd weekend in July. The centerpiece of this festival is the art barn featuring fine works from over 180 local and regional artists. In addition to the art barn guests will enjoy searching for treasures through the offerings of over 130 fine artisans, relaxing under the huge oak trees while filling a bag with classic books from the book wagon, or enjoying the live entertainment on stage.
- Tip from the INNsider: the pies from the local church table are a must and worth every calorie!
Bluegrass & Blueberries – July 15-16: We all know New Jersey is famous for blueberries so why would you come to PA? Simple, we are literally right next door so the climate is the same and the fruit equally delicious. Peddler’s Village will be holding a Bluegrass & Blueberries Festival on July 15, 16.
- Our Chef’s love blueberry picking at Philips Farm Market in nearby Milford.
