A fall sunrise on the scenic Delaware River is quite magical as the soft light pierces through the low lying mist on the river and exposes the vignettes of colorful reflections dancing on the ripples in the river. The first cold front moved through late last week and ushered in a hint of the palette to come. The warm sunny days of October followed by cool nights will maximize the vibrant Pennsylvania fall foliage colors.
While many leaf peepers flock to see Pennsylvania foliage at its peak, the colors begin to creep South into the small towns of Bucks County and the Delaware River Valley – a new and exciting destination for leaf peeping. Mother Nature’s dazzling display is just a short 90 minute (or less) drive from New York and Philadelphia.
