Winter in the Valley

Life along the Delaware River & canal slows to such a lovely pace in the Winter months.

Our last snow was perfect for hitting the towpath. With it’s flat surface, it makes for a course that is suitable for the beginner & the advanced. With 60 miles to explore, you will not tire of the diversions. Back at the inn, Chef Pat’s cookies & tea are a wonderful restorative to the workout. And after a long soak in the whirlpool, in front of the fire, it’s early to bed with the one we love……
